jkOnTheRun exclusive- details emerge about the DualCor cPC (jkOnTheRun)

More info on the DualCor cPC can be found at this site: jkOnTheRun. Interesting fact about the Outlook PIM info being shared between the full PC Outlook version and the WM 5.0 without the need for ActiveSyncing - I like that! I want one - now. Glad I have been waiting to upgrade my PDA to a WM 5.0 device - and I haven't taken the plunge yet for a TabletPC. One device for $1500 could work for me.

Sounds like a great device - too expensive @ $1500 and no pictures to get a feel for the size - but worth checking out further. I wish I was going to CES this year! Maybe in 2007!

GMail Mobile

Google offers mobile phone version of Gmail e-mail - Yahoo! News

"SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Google has created a special version of its Gmail e-mail service that provides mobile phone subscribers with quick access to their e-mail, the company said on Friday.
Details on the mobile e-mail service, which currently is only available to U.S. cellphone users at http://m.gmail.com.
The service works on the subset of more advanced mobile phones that offer an Internet browser. Users can view attached photos and documents from their phone, and reply-by-call to people whose phone number is stored in their Gmail account.
Gmail messages are automatically synchronized between their mobile phones and computer accounts, regardless of whether Gmail is accessed from Gmail Mobile or the Web."

I am off to check this out on my MOT V551.  Sounds great - photo and attach viewing!  Wow!

'Podcast' named Word Of The Year 2005.

Very cool!  The article says it beat out "bird flu" and "rootkit".  Last I checked, both "bird" and "flu" are already in the dictionary and writing it like "bird flu" shouldn't make that a dictionary word.  Maybe an Encyclopedia entry, but definitely not a word.
