JiWire Launches New Service to Help Users Easily Secure Any Public WiFi Connection
This looks like a worthwhile app to pay $5/month or $50/year for if you frequent hotspots and do not use a VPN. I have encountered the problem with not being able to send outgoing mail while working with the free Wi-Fi at Panera Bread hotspots. I may look into getting this for some piece of mind.
